Vom Parkplatz der Markbachjochbahn links auf die Hauptstrasse in Richtung Oberau. Nach der Bushaltestelle (nachdem man beim M-Preis vorbeigekommen ist) auf der linken Seite auf den Weg in Richtung "Anton-Graf-Huette" abbiegen. Dann immer der Forststrasse bergauf bis zur Anton-Graf-Huette (hier Einkehrmoeglichkeit). Danach immer in Richtung Markbachjoch (auch hier Einkehrmoeglichkeit in der Markbachjochalm). Weiter zur Bergstation der Markbachjochalm und auf dem Wanderweg in Richtung Mittermoosalm. Danach auf dem Wanderweg in Richtung Ankerlift und parallel zum Lift in Richtung Forstweg nach "Niederau". Auf dem Schotterweg immer bergab bis der Weg in einer Asphaltstrasse endet. Dann weiter bis zur Hauptstrasse und nach links immer in Richtung Parkplatz der Markbachjochbahn.

From the parking lot of Markbachjochbahn left on the main road towards Oberau. After the bus stop (after you get past the M-Price) turn to the left on the path towards "Anton Graf hut". Then always the forest road uphill to the Anton Graf Hut (here Refreshments possibility). Thereafter, always in the direction Markbachjoch (again retreat opportunity in the Markbachjochalm). Next to the mountain station of the Markbachjochalm and on the trail in the direction Mittermoosalm. Then on the trail in the direction parallel to the anchor lift and lift towards forest after "Niederau". All downhill until the trail ends on the gravel in an asphalt road. Then on to the main road and to the left always in the parking lot of Markbachjochbahn.
