Trail Description

Alb buffalo? Yes, it is on the Alb actually a herd of 150 water buffalo - but outside of the round in Hohenstein. Marketed however, they are of a butcher shop and restaurant in Gächingen. And that's why ... The start of the tour is the town hall of Metzingen. From here it is in the course of Reulinger road right through the outlets towards Reutlingen. By-pass of Metzingen, the former B is 28 not so much traffic, and from the residential community one moves anyway to & nbsp; Farm roads. Passing on & quot; double post & quot ;, earlier also & quot; Witch House & quot; called, it is always parallel to the main road on Reultinger district. At the height of the shelter not follow the bike path marking, but more of B 28 to a bridge on the left gives way on the B 28 in parallel by the sink. The streets along it passes a picnic area (front right) and through garden plots until you & nbsp; - After being driven on a road fork left and continue uphill - reached the development of Reutlingen. Here you go 200m down the road to the left & quot; pleasant way & quot; anzweigt. Follow this road until the junction of Castle Road, the one now uses steeply down to the scenic road. There you turn left on a provided with locks combined footpaths and cycle paths. This and the bike path marking & quot; Pfullingen & quot; follow up to the Verzeigung of the cycle track direction Eningen. Here's further direction Eningen and along the Arbachs to the industrial area of ??Eningen at a nursery. Now you can quot of the signs of &; Bike Crossing Swabian Alb & quot; suspended through the industrial area, but remains if these bends on the Arbachtalstraße to the right, continue in a straight line. Only when the trail marking (blue triangle) direction St. Johann and so you go left and up to a barn, in front of which stands a cross. There continues to the right (blue Y) and quot above the &; Lower Lindenhof & quot; in the forest. After 200m you will pass the Arbachquelle and goes to the approximately 200hm comprehensive ascent to & quot; Upper Lindenhof & quot ;, the approximately 10% increase in the average tar, but at the last 400-500m a slope of 17% by weight. Before the first building at the Lindenhof it goes right and then the left turn on the bike path that leads past Würtingen and Lonsingen after Gächingen. There is the aforementioned opportunity to strengthen albbüffelmäßig. From Gächingen you can either go on the road to Sirchingen initially just - or the prospect and digestive sake - on the track only on the road to Dottingen and then go to about 50hm left. Parallel to Sirchinger road and then about 1km on her to reach the crossroads, where one turns right to pass on the ski lift and finally left branching (wood, right bicycle Directory & quot; Gächingen & quot;) up the link road Sirchingen - Dottingen and the highest point of the to achieve tour. On the streets you now moves to the right in a sink to after (right side of the valley) in the forest down (Albverein mark yellow Y, but on the Dottinger page) left to go. From here you know why the whole a mountain bike tour is. It is now firmly on gravel and rock downhill until you reach the Ermstal at the level of fish farming with fishing pond. There you turn left to the & quot; greenway & quot; To follow the direction of Bad Urach and then get the bike trail marker along to Metzingen back.
