Bei dieser Tour handelt es sich um die 5. Bike-Tour des TC Plauen and Friends. Die Route führt in drei Etappen durchs Fichtelgebirge, den Steinwald, den Kaiserwald und das Westerzgebirge. Die anderen beiden Etappen findet Ihr auch hier eingestellt. Ausgehend von Bayreuth startet die erste Etappe direkt mit einem Paukenschlag. Von ca. 340 m ü. NN (Bahnhof Bayreuth) geht es auf einer Länge von ca. 30 km stetig bergauf auf den 1024 m ü. NN hohen Ochsenkopf inmitten des Fichtelgebirges. Die Kletterer werden hierbei sicherlich auf Ihre Kosten kommen. Vom Ochsenkopf fahren wir dann überwiegend auf Waldwegen weiter quer durchs Fichtelgebirge bis zum Naturpark Steinwald. Die Querung des Steinwaldes bildet dann den Abschluss des ersten Tages. Hierbei sind nochmals einige, kleinere, aber dennoch anspruchsvolle Anstiege zu bewältigen. In Friedenfels können wir die Pension Zeitler,Otto-Freundl-Str.11/13, 95688 Friedenfels empfehlen. Sie ist einfach aber gut.

This tour is the fifth bike tour of the TC Plauen and Friends. The route takes in three stages through the Fichtelgebirge, the Stone Forest, the Imperial Forest and the Western Ore Mountains. The other two stages you will find also set here. Starting from Bayreuth starts the first stage directly with a bang. Of about 340 m above sea level. NN (Station Bayreuth) it goes to a length of about 30 km steady climb to 1024 m above sea level. NN high Ochsenkopf amid the Fichtelgebirge. The climbers are here certainly get your money. From Ochsenkopf we drive mostly on forest roads continue right across the Fichtelgebirge Nature Park to the Stone Forest. The crossing of the stone forest then forms the end of the first day. Here are again some smaller but still demanding increases to deal with. In peace we can rock the Pension Zeitler, Otto-Freundl-Str.11 / 13, recommend 95688 peace rock. It is simple but good.
