Der Startpunkt liegt an der Shell-Tankstelle in der Rohrbacher Str. der Heidelberger Weststadt. Zunächst geht es auf der Rohrbacher Str kurz entlang bis auf eine Parallelstraße (Görresstraße) eingebogen wird. Dort ein Stück entlang fahren, bevor in einer höheren Straße ein kleiner Weg hinter den Häusern genommen wird, der an den Ortsrand führt. Über den "Kühlen Grund" wird Höhe gewonnen wird bis auf den Bierhelderhofweg eingebogen wird. Der Weg geht kurz auf die Straße zum EMBL (rechts abbiegen), dort wieder in den Wald. Mit recht gleichmäßigen Steigungen auf gut befahrbaren Waldwegen nähert man sich dem Königsstuhl von Süden. Endpunkt ist die Bergstation der Bergbahn. Von dort fährt man den Waldlehrpfad hinter und biegt links am Ende ab ins Tal. Die Abfahrt hier führt am Ende auf einen kleinen Trail. Wer sich den sparen möchte kann am Ende genauso wie in Tour 43547 fahren. Unten angekommen ist links wieder die Tankstelle zu sehen. Ohne den Trail kann die Strecke auch mit einem Trekking-/Crossbike bewältigt werden.
