Basis dieser Trail-lastigen Tagestour ist die Tour "Wild Man´s Trail" der Volksbankarena Harz. Sie wurde aber verbessert und zu einer Tagestour erweitert, die von Clausthal-Zellerfeld über das Spiegeltal und Wildemann nach Lautenthal und Hahnenklee führt. Dann wieder durch Clausthal, Richtung Altenau und wieder zum Ausgangspunkt. Die Tour startet mit einer schönen trailigen Abfahrt durch das Spiegeltal nach Wildemann. Wir durchqueren das eng eingeschnittene Tal auf seiner Westseite auf schmalen Wanderwegen und gelangen nach Lautenthal. Dort klettern wir mit schöner Aussicht an den Hängen entlang nach Hahnenklee. Der Aufstieg zum Bocksberg beschert uns eine schöne Abfahrt über den "SingleTrail leicht/mittel" (Beschilderung des Bike-Parks folgen, auch wenn diese von der Route abweichen sollte - schwacher GPS-Empfang! Sollte aber kein Problem sein, unten den Track wieder zu finden) Wieder unten geht es etwas verwinkelt zum Camping Platz am Oberen Grumbacher Teich. Danach folgen schöne Trails und der Aufstieg zur Schalke. Nach dem Weg zurück über Clausthal folgt noch etwas Trail-Surfing in Richtung Altenau mit wenigen Höhenmetern, dafür aber viel Spass. We pass through the narrow incised valley on the west side on narrow trails and go to Lautenthal. There we climb with beautiful views across the slope to Hahn clover. The climb to the mountain goat gives us a nice run over the & quot; single trail light / medium & quot; (Follow signs to the bike parks, even if it is different from the route - poor GPS reception but should not be a problem to find the track below!) Back down it goes a bit winding the campsite on the Upper Grumbacher pond. Thereafter, beautiful trails and follow the ascent to Schalke. After going back over Clausthal follows a little trail Surfing in Altenau with a few meters of altitude, but a lot of fun.
