Diese Tour führt uns zunächst über einen sehr schönen Radweg entlang der Drau bis in die nähe des Ortes Greifenburg (andere Uferseite). Von hier an beginnt dann der Anstieg zum Weissensee. Der Weissensee liegt auf etwa einer Höhhe von 930 Metern über dem Meeresspiegel und ist somit der höchstgelegene der Kärntener Badeseen. Am Weissensee angekommen erklimmen wir den nächsten Anstieg zu der sehr schön gelegenen Alm Hinterm Brunn. Weiter führt uns die Tour vorbei an der weissen Wand zurück Richtung Kreuzwirt am Weissensee. Nach Irschen geht es dann wieder über den Drauradweg. Trotz des relativ hohen Asphaltanteils auf dem Radweg fanden wir diese Tour sehr empfehlenswert. Und die Aussichten auf den Weissensee inkl. Kaiserschmarrn auf der Alm waren auch nicht zu verachten :o)

This tour takes us on a very nice bike path along the Drau up in the near of the place Greifenburg (other bank). From here on begins the ascent to the Weissensee. The Weissensee is located at about a Höhhe of 930 meters above sea level and is the highest of the Carinthian bathing lakes. Arriving at the Weissensee we climb the next rise to the beautifully situated Alm Behind Brunn. Next the tour takes us past the white wall back toward Cross host at Weissensee. After deer it goes again about the Drava cycle path. Despite the relatively high proportion of asphalt on the bike path we found this tour highly recommended. ., And the views of the Weissensee including pancakes on the pasture were not too bad either: o)
