Con partenza da Mazzano (BS), appena dopo il semaforo dell’Auchan, ci si dirige verso la gavardina. Alla seconda uscita si gira a sinistra e si fa la classica salita su asfalto, ma poco trafficata, verso Serle. Si prosegue sino al bivio del Santuario di san Bartolomeo dove inizia l’ultimo tratto in salita impegnativo. Giunti in cima si riscende da dove siamo saliti con una piccola deviazione verso la zona picnic. Ritornati al bivio questa volta si prende per Gavardo e si comincia a scendere. Si fanno un paio di strappi sino a quando sulla destra inizia il sentiero nel boschetto, il 502. Lo si percorre tutto. Non è lunghissima la discesa ma, con qualche roccia di mezzo e con la front come la mia, è simpatico e soprattutto immerso nel verde. Si costeggeranno le cave del Tesio sino a riprendere la strada asfaltata e poi la gavardina.

Departing from Mazzano (BS), just after the traffic lights dell'Auchan, we head towards the Gavardina. At the second exit, turn left and you do the classic route on asphalt, but little traffic, to Serle. Continue to the junction of the Shrine of St. Bartholomew where he began the last climb challenging. At the top go back down to where we went with a little detour to the picnic area. Back at the fork this time it takes to Gavardo and begins to descend. You make a couple of tears until the right path starts in the grove, the 502 Cross it all. It is not very long but the descent, with some rocks and a half with the front like mine, is sympathetic and especially in the countryside. It costeggeranno quarries Tesio up to take the paved road and then the Gavardina.
