Trail Description

May 7, 2010: Attention, the B27 you can not cross at the specified location. Here the path was unfortunately filled by Forestry Department or Highways Agency. You now need to Roringen nbsp as in my &; & Quot; 4 towers Tour & quot; ancestors and cross the street there. What a shame! I will incorporate the change in the next few months into the tour. The tour begins as all my Göttingen forest tours on tailings and from there first to Herberhausen. There it goes through the upper road to the second starting point the country inn Lockemann. On the road & quot; At the mill & quot; we leave Herberhausen towards B27 and cross it at Tonollo. Here we go behind the cat house on the service road that runs parallel to the B27. On the new cycle takes in the Uni-North area and from there up after Deppoldshausen. The track leads us in the & quot; Eibenwald & quot ;. Here are notable yews in Buchenwald. The yew was sought earlier for the production of crossbows and bow. After Eibenwald we enjoy above Eddigehausen the views of the Plesseburg. To this we reach a narrow forest road with good pitch. Worth at the Plesse castle a short stop to refresh themselves in the castle tavern, to climb the tower and take a look in the Leine valley. On our way we take the road down Plesse & nbsp; up in the first turn and turn into the dirt road. The trail continues above the places Reyershausen (in nice weather should take a dip in the pool schedule) and Billinghausen before going back in the direction Hünstollen up. This time we do not go up to the tower, but turn already about 1 km before after Roringen from. The B27 we cross above Roringen and take the Borheckstraße about Mack Roder tip and the Kerstingröder field back to the downside. The tour lasts between 2-3 hours depending on your condition without relaxing and swimming. Do not scare the height profile, the GPS heights pretty soft from the actual starting. More information about the Göttingen Forest and the tours can be found in my blog.
