Diese Tour führt rund um das Marienthal, durch das sich der Fluss Regen seinen Weg bahnt. Eingezwängt zu beiden Seiten durch steile Berghänge, verengt sich das Tal immer mehr, bis zur engsten Stelle bei der Ortschaft Marienthal. Die Strecke führt zu beiden Seiten des Flusses entlang, mit abstechern zur Burgruine Stockenfels und auf die gegenüberliegende Seite des Regens auf den Peilstein mit einer grandiosen Ausicht auf das schluchtartige Tal und die Burgruine im Hintergrund. Meine Aufzeichnug beginnt an der neuen Brücke bei Überfuhr. Es geht also los über die Brücke links, dann am Fluss entlang, zuerst eben, anschliesend bergauf und weiterfolgend in mehreren Kehren immer leicht rauf und runter bis zur Ruine. An der anderen Seite der Burg auf dem Wanderweg hinab, ein wenig schwierig zu fahren mit Felsen und Rinnen. Unten angekommen gehts sehr schön am Flusswanderweg entlang bis nach Hirschling wo dann die "Seite" gewechselt wird. Ein Stück dem Radweg folgend dann rechts hoch, zuerst auf breiter Forststrasse dann wieder rechts hoch einem Wanderweg/Waldweg entlang . Bei einer grossen Wegekreuzung gehts links weiter das letzte Stück zum Peilstein, der richtige Platz um eine kleine Pause einzulegen und die Ausicht zu geniessen. Und zum krönenden Abschluss kommt eine sehr schöne Trail Abfahrt von ganz oben bis ganz unten zum Fluss, auf einem nicht schwer zu fahrendem Pfad, im oberen Teil mässig steil und schnurgerade, nach unten immer flacher und mit leichten Kurven. Das letzte Stück zum ausrollen geht dann noch auf der Regentalstrasse entlang zuzück zum Startpunkt.
