La salita si puo’ effettuare comodamente con bici al seguito con la funivia che velocemente ed in due tronconi porta in cima al monte.
All’uscita della stazione di arrivo del secondo tratto di funivia, si prosegue dritti passando davanti ad un grosso pino e proseguendo sulla strada asfaltata si tiene alla destra la deviazione per la seggiovia. Il primo pezzo e’ in salita, ma dopo circa 500 metri si arriva ad un incrocio dove si gira a sinistra e da qui inizia la discesa.
Il primo pezzo e’ su strada asfaltata, le condizioni del manto stradale sono abbastanza buone, solo il alcuni punti c’e’ un po di ghiaia e comunque essendo tra la vegetazione molto fitta, in alcuni tratti c’e’ parecchia umidita’. Occorre prestare comunque attenzione visto le velocita’ facilmente raggiungibili per la pendenza e considerando che e’ possible incrociare automobili che salgono.
In questo tratto si incontrano parecchi tornati e dopo circa 3.5km dalla partenza si trova sulla destra una casa diroccata.
Si imbocca il sentiero a destra e si prosegue nel bosco per un paio di chilometri, per poi incrociare nuovamente la strada asfaltata. Attenzione a non proseguire sulla strada principale, ma imboccare la stradina sterrata che si trova subito sulla sinistra.
Da questo punto in poi si percorre sempre il sentiero per vari chilometri fino ad arrivare sulla strada che collega Sovazza con Gignese, proseguire sulla strada seguendo le indicazioni per Stresa.
Si passa cosi’ dalle frazioni Vanzone, Levo, Carciano per arrivare a Stresa in zona stazione. Andare in direzione del lago e poi costeggiare il lungolago fino ad arrivare al parcheggio dei battelli e della funivia.

It goes so 'fractions Vanzone, Levo, Carciano to get to Stresa in the station area. Going in the direction of the lake and then walk along the lakefront until you get to the parking lot of the boats and the cable car.
