Start und Ziel: am Volksfestplatz in Grafenau (hier auch gute Parkmöglichkeiten). Zuerst geht es im Schatten entlang der Ohe in die Kleblmühle und dann weiter über Wald- und Wiesenwege durch das Vorfeld des Nationalparkes. Nach Durchquerung eines Waldstückes geht es nach Großarmschlag und weiter über Judenhof Richtung Grüb. Hier kann man alternativ die Route abkürzen. Für gut Konditionierte beginnt aber jetzt erst der Spaß. Erst steil bergab auf Schotter um dann mit Mühen wieder hoch bis nach Bernstein zu kommen. Danach durch kleinen Waldweg (besonders anstrengend nach Regen und Waldarbeiten) bis nach Oberhüttensölden und dann weiter zum Hartmannsreither Stausee. Hier geht es auf Schotter steil aufwärts, Schieben ist keine Schande. Kurz Luft holen und dann noch den Anstieg auf Asphalt nach Schildertschlag bis zur Abzweigung der Alternative. Hier weicht meine Route etwas von der 81 ab, da sich in Grüb auch schöne Gasthäuser befinden!! Auf Straße durch Grafenau (noch ein steiler Berg) zurück zum Ausgangsort. Im Stadtkern von Grafenau lässt sich ebenfalls gut schmausen!

Start and finish: on Volksfestplatz in Grafenau (also easy parking). First, it is in the shade along the Ohe in the Kleblmühle and then over forest and meadow paths through the run-up to the national park. After crossing a forest track it goes on and on about Grossarmschlag Judenhof direction Grüb. Here you can alternatively shorten the route. For good Conditioned but only now the fun begins. Only steep and then come downhill on gravel with troubles back up until after Bernstein. Then by small forest road (particularly tiring after rain and forest work) to Upper Hut Sölden and then on to Hartmann Reither reservoir. Here it goes steeply uphill on gravel, Pushing is no shame. Short breath and then the ascent on asphalt after Schildertschlag to the junction of the alternative. Here my route deviates slightly from the 81 from, because in Grüb are also beautiful Guest !! On road through Grafenau (still a steep hill) back to the starting point. In the center of Grafenau can also feast well!
