Der Klassiker für die heimischen Mountainbiker! Die Malleisten-Alm ist ein perfekter "Almhobler" für den Feierabend, aber auch für die Ausfahrt am Wochenende. Am Ende der Bergfahrt lockt nicht nur ein toller Ausblick ins Mürztal und auf das Semmeringgebiet und die Hohe Veitsch sondern auch eine Einkehr: Bier, Radler und "Kasbrot" aus eigener Erzeugung warten! Meist wird die "Malleisten" über den Malleistengraben/-tal befahren. Hier stelle ich die "Alternative" zur Verfügung. Anfahrt über das Feistritztal (Straße zwischen Schloss Feistritz und Golfplatz), immer entlang des Baches. Nach einigen Kilometern mündet die Teerstraße in einen Sandweg und nach einer Spitzkehre gelangt man auf ein Zwischenplateau (1050m) mit schönen Blick auf die "Hohe Veitsch". Die letzen 150hm sind die steilsten, aber mit kleinem Gang locker zu fahren. Ca. 500m vor der Almhütte kommt man aus dem Wald und hat einen schönen Blick ins Mürztal, ist umgeben von einer Almlandaschaft - inkl. Almkühe. Nach Stärkung beim netten Senner oder der Sennerin gehts vorerst auf gleichem Weg bergab aber am Plateau gerade weiter. Super Teilabschnitt - leicht fallendes Dahingleiten auf Waldweg. Nach dem Marterl am Fuchskogel geradeaus weiter und abermals über schöne Almwiesen zurück ins Feistritztal. Kurzversion: Innerhalb von 1 Stunde bin ich nach der Arbeit auf der Alm inmitten von Kühen und bei Bier und Kasbrot. - Wos wüst mehr?! Nix. Klaus PS: Bei Fahrverboten haben wir natürlich immer geschoben - eh klor ;-)

After the shrine on Fuchskogel straight and again over beautiful meadows back to Feistritztal. Short version: Within 1 hour I am after work on the pasture surrounded by cows and beer and Kasbrot. - Wos more desolate ?! Nix.
