Trail Description

Forchach (Lech Valley) - White Stream - vineyards - Rotlechstausee - Raax-Alpe - Ehensbichler Alpe - gutters - Namlos - Stan Zach - Vorderhornbach - Hinterhornbach - Peter Berg Alpe - back to Forchach. First of Forchach on the bike path along the road to Weissenbach. Here one can ever agree on the tranquility of the Lech valley. From vineyards you go uphill then. First leisurely on paved wide forest path to Rotlechstausee. Naturally, you can continue to follow the road after gerausaus gutters. But I'm bent towards Raaxalpe. This path goes grobgeschottern, pretty (uniformly) steeply about 600 Hm upwards. Who here has already claimed 100 Hm problems, it should better let. There is no better. There are always wonderful views down into Rotlechtal. Once at the top, you have to decide whether to stop off in the same Raaxalpe or another 10 minutes further moves to marriage Bichler Alpe. The first is a major landscape complex. The latter is a smaller house directly on the slope by channels. From the marriage Bichler Alpe it goes about 300 Hm down on a hiking trail. Here reigns bike ban and it is really only something for agile driver. I have pushed / carried. At 1400 Hm one also encounters a road, which is further down followed by troughs. In the valley floor, it goes over the bridge of the wild and romantic Rotlechbaches that still invites directly to a rest. Following from here again something up that driveway. The other route to Stan Zach'm also followed the driveway, which was, however, hardly any traffic. Despite driveway the ride was very promising through the valley of the brook Namloser. Right at the entrance to Stan Zach is a nice, new restaurant with great views located on the Klimmspitze and Namloser valley. From here you could of course directly back to Forchach and the tour would be a good hour shorter. But the Hornbachtal should not be missed. Even the road to Hinterhornbach is so nice that they actually should prefer to walk. From Behind Horbach, along a dirt road and continue on to Peter Berg Alpe. This is eigenlich a hiking path on which many hikers travel. Near the end of the valley is very beautiful, the Peter Berg Alpe, you do not (like me) should miss. Back on track after Hinterhornbach, Road to Vorderhornbach and cycle some of the Lech to Forchach. In May / June this tour is particularly recommended because down there there is spring and it still touches the snow above.
