DESCRIZIONE:

DESCRIPTION: From
park in the center of Fonzaso we head north to cross the SS Passo Rolle, just before the tunnel. On the old road along the river Cismon, lies the entrance to a path (what remains of an ancient road that led to Faller); the slope is gentle but the sandy bottom and brambles intrusive create significant difficulties in the first few turns. Then the surface improves, the road widens and goes nicely in the shadows of the woods to find your way to new Faller.Breve stop at the bar of the country; request for information and buying local map, because we're going on an adventure ... looking for a camp and a new road that does not appear in any mappa.Un month ago, a mountaineer told me: "This do not know for sure, the 'we just built us ... "the directions were vague, but with a little' luck, we found it.
By Ramen dirt road begins; Top to bottom good Loreto and again until fork loc. Pascolon q. 955
There are various tables but no camp was indicated; we decided to go and soon a hard stretch to 20% forces us to push up to a new fork in the road; here the words "will mark" reminds me of something: keep to the right and the slope is now sweeter. Finally we arrive at a new crossroads tabellato and there is also the "bivouac Yale." A hundred meters down the hill and there he is, perched on the mountainside Avena, south side, at 1100 m altitude. The view sweeps over the Grappa massif and lower down on the mountain Aurin, Col del Gallo and Lake Corlo-Rocca. Here begins the new path (still in accommodation, about 2 m in width) on a slight slope (more false floor) cuts the south slope of Mount Avena. After scollinato to q. 1190 covered approximately 2.5 km starts the descent; This, unfortunately, is formed on an ancient trail is very steep, often rocky or loose surfaces (a few manage to do it all in the saddle). The stretch is about 1.5 km and ends on a dirt road off to q. 760 It starts in the saddle, the bottom is good but beware the slopes are still significant. We descend through loc. Fairs and Venice Secca; then on asphalt and milder slopes we reach the outskirts of Facen. The return to Fonzaso happens now along the foothills, a beautiful paved road but no traffic that is wedged between the mountain and the mountain Oats Aurin and then descends to Arten from which you will soon return to Fonzaso.
