Die dritte Etappe von Hinterhauenstein zum Feldberg war die angenehmste Etappe unserer Westwegtour. Sie folgt dem Westweg hauptsächlich auf sehr schönen Waldwegen. Der Brend ist nach etwas mehr als 17km der erste Punkt, ab dem es wieder länger bergab geht. Wir folgen dem Weg auf welligem Profil weiter und erreichen nach knapp 29km die Kalte Herberge. Nach der Kalten Herberge geht es auf wunderschönen Wegen, immer wieder die B500 kreuzend bis zur Weißtannenhöhe. Von dort geht es schnell bergab in Richtung Titisee. Auf dem Weg nach Titisee sind wir im Berghäusle eingekehrt. Nach einem Erdinger alkoholfrei und einer Portion Spaghetti, die gut und gerne 3 hungrige Radler satt gemacht hätte, ging es weiter. In Titisee angekommen mussten wir erstmal absteigen, da die Stadt von Touristen überflutet war. Von Titisee bis zum Feldberg sind wir der östlichen Route des Westwegs gefolgt. Hinter Titisee führte der noch nicht vollständig wieder angelegte Weg am Seeufer entlang in Richtung Bärental. Nach Bärental wurde die Steigung wieder etwas steiler und wir fuhren auf breiten Waldwegen - häufig in der Sonne - bergauf. Die Mühen werden durch den tollen Aussichtspunkt belohnt. Hinter dem Aussichtspunkt ging es zunächst über Holzbretter und dann auf Waldwegen weiter in Richtung Caritashaus. Vom Caritashaus fuhren wir auf Teer weiter zur Emmendinger Hütte. Die Hütte liegt sehr schön am Skihang und man hat einen tollen Blick auf den Feldberg. Zimmer und Verpflegung waren wir vom Ochsenstall besser gewöhnt.

The third stage of the Behind Hauenstein Feldberg was the most pleasant stage of our Westwegtour. It follows the western route mainly on very beautiful forest trails. The Brend is just over 17km, the first point at which it goes back longer downhill. We follow the road on undulating profile and is just under 29km the Cold hostel. After the Cold hostel it comes to scenic trails, repeatedly crossing the B500 to the silver fir height. From there it goes fast downhill towards Titisee. On the way to Titisee we are has returned in the mountain homeowners. After a Erdinger alcohol free and a portion of spaghetti, like the 3 hungry cyclists would have fed well and it went on. In Titisee arrived we had to dismount first, as the city was flooded by tourists. From Titisee Feldberg until we followed the eastern route of the West path. Behind Titisee led the not yet fully reinvested way along the lakeshore towards Barental. After Barental the slope was somewhat steeper again and we drove on wide forest trails - often in the sun - uphill. The effort is rewarded by the magnificent view point. Behind the vantage point, it was first wooden boards and then on forest roads in the direction of Caritas House. From Caritas House, we drove on further tar to Emmendinger hut. The cottage is beautifully situated on the slope and you have a great view of the Feldberg. Room and board, we were better used by Ochsenstall.
