NOTA: questo stupendo giro che si svolge nella parte nord dell’altopiano è ovviamente dedicato a chi possiede un ottimo allenamento ed ha già affrontato analoghe imprese. Provvedete una sicura autonomia per cibo e bevande in quanto per alcune ore non troverete punti di rifornimento (sull’altipiano non ci sono fontane). Assicuratevi anche condizioni meteo favorevoli (temporali in zone aperte possono risultare pericolosi).
DESCRIZIONE:
Da Gallio (q. 1080) si imbocca la val di Nos e la risale fino a q. 1515 (wp B);
con saliscendi, in prevalente discesa, si arriva ai piedi del Monte Interrotto (nei pressi dell’omonimo forte); procedendo in dir. nord si scollina presso il monte Mosciagh (q. 1550) quindi si scende sulla strada Asiago-passo Vezzena dove si tocca la q. min= 990 m. Si risale ad una bella forestale incrociandola poco a nord del laghetto Spillek; prima in dir. nord, poi ovest si sale lungamente fino al bivio di q. 1590 nei pressi di malga Mandrielle. Da qui una ripida discesa porta a ritrovare la SP Asiago-Vezzena nei pressi dell’antica Osteria Al Termine (in traccia è indicata la digressione per un caffè). Poco dopo ancora si pedala in salita nel bosco fino ad incrociare la strada per malga Larici. Lasciata la malga sulla dx a q. 1630 si continua a salire sull’impegnativa strada che valica a Bocchetta Portule (wp P q. 1940). Da qui si scende in loc. I Monumenti ; in questo tratto la toponomastica, le rovine di manufatti, i tabelloni didattici, ed ogni pietra, ricordano le sanguinose vicende della 1^ guerra mondiale. Segue la lunga e difficile (a causa del fondo sassoso e smosso) salita che porta al punto più elevato del giro: la selletta Mecenseffy a q. 2060. La successiva discesa passa per il Bivio Italia (punto di accesso all’Ortigara) e per la Piazza delle Saline (q. 1700) da cui si potrebbe fare una digressione a Malga Moline. In prevalente discesa ma con alcune contropendenze, si perviene al bivio S q. 1545 nei pressi di una 2^ malga Mandrielle. Da qui si scende inizialmente verso Marcesina; poi, a q. 1375, si riprende a risalire le pendici del Monte Cimone per poi scendere nella piana di Campo Cavallo ed incontrare la forestale Casonetti-Campomulo nel punto U a q. 1360. La successiva risalita termina a q. 1595 (sella di Sbarbatal), poi si scende rapidamente a Campomulo dove si trova Rif.-bar-ristorante.
NOTA: Chi ne avesse abbastanza e volesse arrivare presto a Gallio potrà semplicemente tenere la principale asfaltata in discesa fino all’arrivo.
Seguendo invece la traccia, resta un’ultima salita che porta in cima al monte Ongara (q. 1633) seguita dalla discesa che ritrova la strada per Gallio a q. 1430.

= 117 NOTE: This wonderful tour that takes place in the northern part of the plateau is obviously dedicated to those who have a great workout and has already dealt with similar companies. Provide a secure autonomy for food and drinks for a few hours because you will not find refueling points (on the plateau there are fountains). Also make sure to favorable weather conditions (storms in open areas can be dangerous).
DESCRIPTION: From
Gallio (alt. 1080) take the val Nos and dates back to q. 1515 (wp B);
with ups and downs, mostly downhill, we arrive at the foot of Mount Interrupted (near the homonymous strong); proceeding dir. north scollina at Mount Mosciagh (alt. 1550) then you go down the road Asiago-step Vezzena where you tap the q. min = 990 m. It goes back to a beautiful forest crossing it just to the north of the pond Spillek; first in dir. north, then west long climb to the junction of q. 1590 near Malga Mandrielle. From here a steep descent leads to find the SP-Asiago vezzena near the old Tavern At The End (trace shows the digression for a coffee). Shortly after that you ride uphill through the woods until you cross the road to Malga Larches. Leaving the hut on the right to q. 1630 continues to rise sull'impegnativa road over a nozzle Portule (wp P q. 1940). From here you descend in loc. The Monuments; the place names in this part, the ruins of artifacts, the educational boards, and every stone, reminiscent of the bloody events of the 1st World War. Follows the long and difficult (due to the uneven rocky, loose) climb to the highest point of the tour: the saddle Mecenseffy to q. 2060 The descent passes through the junction Italy (AP Ortigara) and the Piazza delle Saline (q. 1700) from which you could make a digression to Malga Moline. Mostly downhill but with some counterslopes, you come to the junction S q. 1545 near a 2nd Alm Mandrielle. From here we descend towards Marcesina initially; then, q. 1375 is takes to climb the slopes of Monte Cimone and then descend to the plain of Campo Cavallo and meet the forest-Casonetti Campomulo the point U in q. 1360. Subsequent ascent ends at q. 1595 (saddle Sbarbatal), then descends rapidly to Campomulo where act.val.dev.time-bar-restaurant.
NOTE: Who had had enough and wanted to get there early to Gallio will simply keep the main paved downhill until the arrival .
Following instead the track remains one final climb to the summit of the mountain Ongara (q. 1,633) followed by descent who finds the way to Gallio in q. 1430
