Ausgangspunkt unserer Tour ist Wotzdorf, bekannt ist vielleicht das Autohaus Amsl. Hier biegen wir rechts nach Knödslederhof ab, vorbei am Steinbruch, bis wir an die ehemalige Bahnlinie Hzbg.Passau kommen, wo wir links entlang am Staffelbach bis nach Hzbg fahren, Ortsteil Danglmühle. Wir folgen dem Wanderweg bis zum Freudensee, fahren dort wenige km ins nächste Dorf unterhalb des Staffelberges. Hier biegen wir wieder in ein Waldstück (Wegpunkt 4) mit einem kurzen Anstieg zur Hauptstr. hoch; Vorbei an einem Solarpark bis wir bei Wegpunkt 6 den Einstieg zum Aufstieg zum Ruhmannsberg erreichen. 3km durch einen wunderbar hellen Mischwald auf den 862 m hohen Gipfel. Technisch anspruchsvoll, kurz aber knackig, so läßt sich dieses Stück beschreiben. Den 500 m langen Trail vom Gipfel runter sollten Erstbefahrer lieber langsam angehen: Viel Wurzeln, darüber rutschiges Laub bieten kleine Gefahren; für Routiniers gilt: Bremse auf :-) Im weiteren Verlauf bieten eine breite Forststrasse, später Teer Geschwindigkeiten bis 70 km/h. Über Germannsdorf, Schröck gehts nach Hauzenberg / Danglmühle zurück. Der Trail am Staffelbachtal entlang zum Ausgangspunkt macht Spaß und sehr gut und schnell fahrbar, richtig zum Auspowern auf den letzten Metern.

Starting point of our tour is Wotzdorf known is perhaps the dealership AMSL. Here we turn right after Knödslederhof, proceed past the quarry, until we come to the former railway line Hzbg.Passau, where we turn left along the stream until after Season Hzbg, district Danglmühle. We follow the trail up to the Freudensee, go there a few miles to the next village below the mountain season. Here we turn again in a wooded area (waypoint 4) with a short climb to the Str. high; Over Till we reach for waypoint 6 on a solar farm started to climb to Ruhmannsberg. 3km by a wonderfully bright mixed forest on the 862 m high summit. Technically sophisticated, short but crisp, so can be described this piece. Should down the 500 m long trail from the summit Erstbefahrer prefer to take it slow: Lots of roots, over slippery leaves offer little danger; for veterans applies: Brake:-) In the course offer a wide forest road, then tar speeds up to 70 km / h. About Germannsdorf, Schröck go back to Hauzenberg / Danglmühle. The trail along the Staffelbachtal the starting point is fun and very good and fast mobile, right to experience your body in the final meters.
