Si lascia l'auto nel parcheggio del municipio di Dégioz e si imbocca la strada che attraversa il torrente. Si svolta a destra raggiungendo la località di Vers le Bois. Inizia qui la storica mulattiera reale che sale con una lunghissima serie di tornanti in un fitto bosco, la pendenza è a tratti forte in particolare nei primi chilometri.
Dopo aver attraversato il bosco sempre lungo una serie di tornanti si raggiunge il pianoro con la casa reale di caccia di re Vittorio Emanuele II.
Frequentissimi gli incontri con stambecchi, camosci e marmotte.

You can leave your car in the parking lot of City Hall in Dégioz and take the road that crosses the river. Turn right to reach the town of Vers le Bois. Start here real historical trail that climbs with a long series of switchbacks in a dense forest, the slope is strong at times especially in the first few miles.
After crossing the forest again along a series of switchbacks to reach the plateau with the royal hunting lodge of King Vittorio Emanuele II.
frequent encounters with mountain goats, chamois and marmots.
