Trail Description

The Weather Stone Round is one of the most scenic routes in the area. Starting point of this tour is Mittenwald and the route goes counterclockwise direction in Elmau, past Garmisch and on to Eibsee. The weather stone wall with the Wettersteinspitze and the Alpine peaks are the companion to this section before the Zugspitze comes into view. After Garmisch worthwhile in any case, the circumnavigation of the Eibsee despite the many walkers, is he a scenic eye candy is. From here, but also begins the ascent to Hochtörlhütte before the departure is to Ehrwald. On this descent to Ehrwald the branches can easily be overlooked on the trails with partial singletrack to it & nbsp; would be a pity. From the last Ehrwald Ehrwald Alm begins to rise (unfortunately on asphalt), the 30 km long descent along the Leutascher Ache begins before up to Mittenwald. Refreshments are available on the track enough so you die of thirst or starved to death under any circumstances.
