Vom Campingplatz Zugspitzarena über Ehrwald auf dem Radweg in Richtung Garmisch fahren, beim Abzweigschild Untergrainau geht’s steil nach oben, an der Kreuzung dann rechts immer dem Schild Eibsee folgen (rechts herum). Vor dem Eibseehotel rechts in den Forstweg zur Hochthörlehütte einbiegen und bis zur Hütte folgen. Zurück zum Campingplatz gibt’s zwei Möglichkeiten entweder Fahrstrasse oder den Thörlerundweg (hab ich gewählt).

Drive from the campsite Zugspitze Arena on Ehrwald on the bike path in direction Garmisch, at the junction sign Untergrainau you go straight up, then turn right at the crossroads always follow the sign Eibsee (clockwise). Before Eibseehotel turn right into the forest to Hochthörlehütte and follow up to the hut. Back to the campsite there's two options, either driving or the road Thörlerundweg (I chose).
