Trail Description

This track will take you to explore some of the most characteristic areas of the Euganean through paths, sometimes known sometimes forgotten ... where you can enjoy fine views across the landscaped euganei and small medieval villages and rural areas typical of this hilly area.
We start from the slope of asphalt from the slope of Mount Ricco that quite hard, almost to the top, will give us multiple views of the surrounding landscape, and then infilarci in a long technical singletrack at the beginning and then more smoothly ... really 10 and praise !!!! We head then on Monte Cecilia except where some strappetto uphill ... we'll definitely tough to turn a fun singletrack loop around the ruins of the castle that lies on its cima.Percorreremo always in another area Cecilia hidden singletrack that will bring us back after another short climb ... at the base of the path named by the local "scajara" ... which leads to the top of the mottolone.
but soon branch off this path to go down in Val San Giorgio for a small and short path to be done with caution because of the rocky bottom and moved.
At this point on asphalt climb towards the slopes of Mount Gemola through the small town of Cornoleda where taking a path uphill through the woods we reach the entrance to Villa Beatrice D'este ... (weather permitting you can take a ride inside the villa while remaining in the saddle of our beloved mtb).
Now our direction is Monte Fasolo ... that will cross a path in the shade of the woods ... the essence of which is to remain wet for a long time after a view of the lack of rain ... Capacity of the sun with its rays penetrate ... (be careful because about half of the path vegetation obstructs the passage, forcing us to go down for a moment from the saddle !!!)
From here we will continue to back and singletracks fun until you meet again the upper part of the path called "scajara" from which emerge immediately to skirt a vineyard first and then back along a dirt road on the 'asphalt downhill until a wooden fence that we will overcome bikes on their shoulders ... on to stick in a small and narrow path full of tight hairpins that will lead us to the main square of the ancient village of Arquà Petrarca.
Here we go down 50 meters to rest immediately to the left where a nice trail that runs along a fence at the side of the restaurant sbucheremo "The Montanella." In direction of the Mount Calbarina travel along a side path in which we recognize the particular stratification of the rocky hilly terrain euganeo.Ed in the end with a quick descent will meet the asphalt Coast neighborhood ... where in a couple of km we arrive at the finish line !!! < br> FEATURES OF THE COURSE: climb sometimes challenging but always fairly permissive of funds, some of the singletracks require good technical ability and only in some cases, the vegetation may obstruct the passaggio.Ciclabilità I would say almost totale.Per the physical effort and the altitude you need a good level of fitness.
