Warum in die Ferne schweifen, wenn das Gute doch so nah. Meine zweite Etappe des Frankenweges führt von Schesslitz hoch in die Fränkische Schweiz. Nach dem ordentlichen Anstieg hoch auf Giechburg und Gügel, gehts rein in die "Fränkische" und wie schon in der ersten Etappe ist auch hier der Trailanteil sehr hoch und sogar noch stärker ausgeprägt, v.a. im zweiten Abschnitt dieser Etappe schätze ich den Trailanteil auf 80%!!! Die Strecke bietet alles, was auch die Trails in den Alpen bieten könnten (außer den ganz langen Anstiegen natürlich). Highlights sind neben der Schluchtdurchquerung bei Veilsbronn auch die Höhlendurchquerung "Oswaldshöhle". Insgesamt sind auf den Trails doch einige Schiebepassagen dabei, also auch ordentlich Federhub dranhaben. bei der Tour halte ich mich streng an den Frankenweg, der bisweilen sehr gut ausgeschildert ist.

Why travel far when the good yet so close. My second stage of the franc path leads from Schesslitzview high in the Franconian Switzerland. After the ordinary rise high on Giechburg and Gügel, go purely in the "Franconian" and as early as the first stage of the trail portion is also very high, and even more pronounced, especially in the second section of this stage I guess the Trail share to 80% !!! The route offers everything could also offer the trails in the Alps (except the very long climbs, of course). Highlights are next to a gorge at Veilsbronn the cave traverse "Oswald cave". Overall, some passages are sliding on the trails here but so also neat turn have spring stroke. Tour I stick strictly to the Via Francigena, which is sometimes very well signposted.
