Trail Description

Mountain Bike Tour 2007 on Senkele, Zwiesel mountain, Rosshaupten The Fuessener land small villages, numerous lakes, gently rolling hills and a beautiful Alpine panorama. This setting attracted not only fairy tale king Ludwig II, now there are also mountain bikers who get excellent trails and tours in the area. Even when planning your tour comes to anticipation and you can choose from a variety of routes and variations. The route: From Steinbach to the B 16 feet and intermediate market Oberndorf Located begins our tour. We cross the steam cycle path and once it goes slightly uphill into the forest Sulzschneider. We proceed then always slightly uphill, downhill on forest trails and trail sections through the woods to the southwest until we cross the road connecting Rosshaupten Seeg. Before us lies the Zwiesel mountain, which we are still lengthwise cross later. But first we follow the signs Senkele and Beichelsteinalpe. Soon, it goes steeply uphill through shady beech forest up to the Senkele. On a half-mile we manage 200 meters in altitude, some with slopes over 20%. However, the glorious Alpine panorama while crossing compensated all toil and after about 1.5 hours we reach the Beichelsteinalpe for a short rest. Here it is the groove for the new motorway to Austria not to overlook, and rolls here only times the traffic, it's over with the rest. Without gasoline, strengthened with cyclists and coffee, eds goes through a meadow trail, past farms Hopfensee direction. Located on the Bugruine high above the Hopfensee you have a majestic view of the castles of Kinis and the Allgäu Alps. Continue through the forest reserve with its wild rhododendron shrubs to delightfully secluded Faulensee, on newsstands we stop once more. Now it is again the calves effort, slowly we approach the Zwiesel mountain, avoid these first west, and then select the drive from the north. Similarly steep as the Senkele we boost up the trail that leads further up a trail. At the summit arrived, we again enjoy the magnificent panorama of the Forggensee. Now start the Cream Pies tour: first it goes down a crisp single trail, we open into a dirt road and let the hamlet pommel mountain on the right. Continue slightly uphill on & quot; rock & quot; over another small hill with great trail sections. We cross the Strässlein of Roßhaupten after Ussenburg now reaching down hill over the & quot; old riding & quot; down to Roßhaupten. Cross through the village we head for the steam cycle path, which again brings us back to our starting point in Steinbach.
