Tour-Start ist direkt im kleinen Ort Ramsau an der Touristeninformation, nicht zu verfehlen, da da man bereits mit einem guten Golfabschlag den Ort “durchmessen” kann. Bei heute traumhaftem Wetter durchquert man zunächst den Raumsauer Talkessel, vorbei am Zauberwald (heißt wirklich so, kenne ich nur aus anderen Zusammenhängen) zum idyllischen Taubensee. Von dort die erste, anspruchsvolle Steigung hinauf zur Moderau-Alm (circa 1200 Meter über N.N.). Im Sommer fährt man weiter, erst leicht bergab, dann wieder aufsteigend zum Hirschkaser – im Sommer! Momentan schiebt oder kämpft man sich durch Schneebretter und ein Lawinenabgang (Schuhe waren danach wie frisch geputzt). Die Auffahrt zum Hirschkaser erfolgt über einen Trial, der teilweise am bewaldetem Steilhang entlang führt. Mit meinem Hardtail mir selbst schon zu kurvig, für Trial-Fans sicher eine schöne Sache (dann würde ich eher empfehlen, die Tour als Trackback zu fahren, da der Trial tendentiell ansteigend ist, hat man mehr von). Nach dem Trial den letzten Forstweg hinaus zum Gifpel. Die Tour bietet alles, was Mountainbiken ausmacht: Anstiege, Trials, Kondition, Technik und, wer´s mag, schöne Almen für die Rast

After the trial the last out of the forest Gifpel. The tour offers everything that makes mountain biking: climbs, trials, fitness, technique and who & acute;'s like, beautiful pastures for the rest
