Trail Description


In Staufen startend, geht es auf einsamen Wegen zum schönsten Berg des Schwarzwaldes, dem Belchen. Der erste Teil des Anstieges geht bis zur Kälberlescheuer, die zu einer Rast einlädt. Dann ein kurzes Stück flach, bis es noch mal kräftig hinaufgeht zum Belchen. Auf dem Belchen selbst kann es etwas rummelig sein, aber bei gutem Wetter gibt es eine fantastische Fernsicht bis in die Westalpen. Da es dort auch kühl werden kann, die Regen- oder Windjacke nicht vergessen. Auch wird es sinnvoll sein, Wechselkleidung mitzunehmen, um sich dort umzuziehen. Denn der grösste Teil der Steigungen liegt hinter uns, vom Belchen an beginnt die Kür. Es geht über den Schwarzwald- Westweg Richtung Norden vorbei am Wiedener Eck bis kurz vor den Schauinsland, dann über Gießhübel seitlich des Münstertals wieder abwärts Richtung Staufen. Die Abfahrt vom Gießhübel geht über einen der schönsten Singletrails der Gegend, bei dem man am Anfang und am Ende unter Umständen auch mal schieben muss.
