LE TRACCE GPS NON SOSTITUISCONO IN ALCUN MODO L'USO DI UNA CARTA TOPOGRAFICA DELLA ZONA.
L'uso della traccia GPS non toglie l'obbligo di andare in escursione con la massima
prudenza e le attenzioni che questo tipo di attività necessità.
E' solo un ausilio per la localizzazione dell'itinerario e per la navigazione.
Il sottoscritto declina ogni tipo di responsabilità per un uso errato ed imprudente
di questo file-traccia GPS.
Pur avendo messo la massima cura nel realizzarla e/o elaborarla, l'uso di questo file è a
rischio e pericolo di chi lo usa.
Errori, così come cambiamenti nel terreno o problemi di ricezione gps sono possibili.

Giro che faccio per allenarmi (perchè al 90% in asfalto) ma davvero suggestivo e panoramico.
Si parte dalla frazione "Colleponi di Genga" e si prosegue verso Genga/Frasassi.
Al bivio per Genga svoltare a sinistra e prendere la salita che porta al suggestivo abitato di Genga. Entrati in pase si svolta a destra sempre in salita e si segue la strada (evitando i bivi) fino ad una curva a gomito a destra. Qui c'è l'entrata di un bellissimo canyon (da fare a piedi) che conduce a Valle Scappuccia. E' una grota scavata nel calcare meravigliosa da visitare con uno splendido torrente che la traversa. Si entra nel canyon traversando a piedi il torrente.
Canyon e valle NON SONO PERCORRIBILI IN BICI!
Si torna indietro per 200 metri e si svolta a sinistra (bicio che immette in una strettissima strada ripida in discesa) seguendo l'indicazione "Fossi". Si traversa l'abitato ormai parzialmente abbandonato e si arriva al "Lago Fossi", splendido laghetto nella vallata.
Si prosegue e si svolta a sinistra per Pierosara. Attraversato l'abitato di Cerqueto inizia una splendida e panoramica discesa che, oltrepassando Pierosara, conduce a San Vittore.
Qui al bivio in fondo alla discesa si svolta a sinistra e si segue l'indicazione per l'abitato di Gattuccio. Traverato il P.L., in fondo al rettileneo, s svolta a destra e, in salita sul tornate, si prende il bivio a destra che conduce nuovamente a San Vittore dopo un'altro P.L.
Da qui si imbocca la meravigliosa Gola di Frasassi e la si attraversa tutta, si traversa l'abitato di Pianello e si svolta a destra.
Nei pressi del ristorante (al bivio di Genga) si prende la strada a sinistra e, dopo 100 metri, subito a destra in direzione Meleto.
Si segue la stretta strada che costeggia il fiume Sentino per poi arrivare ad un bivioin forte salita. Qui si svolta a destra e dopo il ponticello di nuovo a destra e si torna alle auto.

Giro I do to train (because 90% asphalt) but really charming and scenic.
It starts from the village "Colleponi of Genga" and continue to Genga / Frasassi.
Genga At the junction turn left and go up the hill that leads to the charming town of Genga. Entered into pase turn right uphill and follow the road (avoiding the forks) until a sharp bend to the right. Here is the entrance of a beautiful canyon (by foot) leading to Valle Scappuccia. You go back for 200 meters and turn left (bicio that leads into a narrow steep road downhill) following the 'indication' Fossi. " You cross the village now partially abandoned and you get to "Fossi Lake", a beautiful lake in the valley.
Go ahead and turn left to Pierosara. After crossing the village of Cerqueto begins a beautiful and scenic descent, passing Pierosara, leading to San Vittore.
Here at the fork in the bottom of the hill turn left and follow the signs to the village of Gattuccio. Traverato the PL, in the bottom of the rettileneo, s turn right and uphill on the back, take the right fork which leads again to San Vittore after another PL
From here, take the wonderful Frasassi Gorge and cross it all, cross the village of Pianello and turn right.
Near the restaurant (at the junction of Genga), take the road to the left and after 100 meters, turn right in the direction of Orchard.
Follow the narrow road that runs along the river Sentinum then arrive at a bivioin strong climb. Here you turn right after the bridge and turn right again and you are back to the car.
