Hochwald - Tour der schönen Aussicht - Tour 4 Tour 4 aus dem Tourenbook des Hochwald-Ferienland e.V. Es handelt sich hier um die vierte von neun Touren und um die kürzeste. Laut Tourenbook wird die Tour als leicht eingestuft, was ich auch voll und ganz bestätigen kann. Die Anforderungen an Kondition und Technik sind sehr gering. Jedoch lässt sich die Tour hervorragend in eine ausgedehnte Toru aus Richtung Trier kommend einbauen. Ich habe den Weg durch den Mattheiser Wald , Richtung Franzenheim und Niedersehr für die Anfahrt ausgewählt und somit eine schon etwas längere Tour gehabt. Nun zur eigentlichen Tour: Der eigentliche Startpunkt ist in Zerf am Marktplatz, mein Startpunkt war wegen der Anfahrt bedingt der Ort Paschel. Man fährt meist auf Feld- und Wirtschaftswegen. Die Strecke ist sehr windanfällig, besonders reizvoll wird es bei starkem Seitenwind. Von Paschel geht es Richtung Schömerich, dann an Hentern vorbei und weiter Richtung Baldringen, welches man nur streift. Der nächste Ort ist Zerf, der eigentliche Startort der Tour. Weiter nach Oberzerf und nach Vierherrenborn und kurz vor Ende kommt man am Steinbachweier vorbei, dann ist man auch schon wieder in Paschel. Im Sommer ist die Tour mit Sicherheit etwas reizvoller, als bei Kälte und Wind.

According Tour Book the tour is classified as mild, which I can fully confirm. The requirements for fitness and technique are very low.
