Trail Description

From Schützenplatz in Clausthal we go to the southeast in the direction Sösetal along ditches from the mining time on single trails and gravel roads. In Kamschlacken the B498 is crossed and now it goes from 400m to 830 m high field. If the height is 300m downhill managed in the Great Sun Valley. Who has leisure, there can enjoy at a barbecue hut the second breakfast. From here it goes along the creek fish back uphill in the direction of St. Andrew Berg. North of St. Andrew Berg the main road L519 is crossed. Along the Kellwasser we head cattle barn. The forest coffee Rinderstall was suitable again for a break before it goes over the Silver by Braun situation. Braun location is surrounded to the west and struck the northwest of the way to the Great Bodestraße. Now you have to be careful that you do not miss the turning to the east to the south-east circumnavigation of the worm mountain. Between the great Winterberg and the worm mountain begin the last 100 meters of the climb to mountain worm. From the summit follow the paths to the northeast along the former inner-German border. The branch towards Cold Bode is difficult to find. After a stretch of road over the creek branches off to Brockenstrasse. 680m of altitude to the summit of the Brocken at 1142m this road now followed. In fine weather you can enjoy a magnificent view to Magdeburg and Braunschweig. After a pause verdiehnten the departure is down to Eckertalsperre. Gravity pulls a formally downhill, but you should not underestimate the lining (ehm. Military road) and the occasional curves. From the police station, it goes back to single trails and gravel roads to Eckertalsperre & nbsp (?). This is überquehrt at the dam and chosen the path towards peat house. Is peat house reaches the B4 is crossed and wrapped along the L504 the way towards Altenau. Shortly after Torfhaus branches off to the south from the road to Wolf waiting. About the Wolf waiting the path continues to the Brander cliff. Now calls again the gravity on the way to Altenau. In Altenau the old station is the goal. From here on the former railway embankment to Clausthal-Zellerfeld. In Clausthal it goes through town to the Crown Court, then at the main building of TU-Clausthal over the Easter Barren Road. Who abiegt after the supermarket left and immediately right of Sägemüllerstrasse follows to the turnpike escapes the most traffic. Now also the starting point on Schützenplatz is in Clausthal in sight.
