Trail Description

This 31 km round starts at the train station in Herford and combined 3 trails to each other - & nbsp; & Quot; Herford - Joellenbeck & quot; , The & quot; Lilienweg & quot; to Enger and the Herford small railway line. Although the tour by driving skills here is more of a normal bike, it is still very varied. Above all, it is but historically interesting. The first half of the round proceeds through field and forest paths, you have to cross multiple farms. The second half begins in Joellenbeck at Eagle Monument and leads in the footsteps of the former narrow gauge railway through Enger back to Herford. The trail starts right at Herford station on the bike station. From here, follow the symbol of a & quot; standing on the top square with a dot in the middle & quot; out of town. About the Wall and on the market by buying it goes to Otter bush and the B 239 therethrough. Here you leave the city and come in free field. Only in Joellenbeck it is again densely populated. From the eagle monument in Joellenbeck following the symbol of a white lily. It leads one to Jöllenbecker cemetery where a former windmill. Shortly after you reach the former route of the light railway, which you follow to Enger inside. Nice homemade boards along the path tell the story of the train.
