Der Colca-Canyon ist bekannt und touristisch gut erschlossen. Biker habe ich leider keine getroffen. Die Gegend hätte es verdient: Pisten, Pässe, Trails in allen Schwierigkeitsgraden. Uralte Kulturlandschaft der Inkas mit Terassenanbau. Chivay bietet mit seinem Thermalbad und den Cafes und Gaststätten gute Regenerationsmöglichkeiten. Ab Cabanaconde wird die Tour wild und einsam und nur gut ausgerüstete und erfahrene Tourenfahrer sollten hier weiterfahren. Weitere Beschreibung im Südamerika Bikebuch des RKH-Verlages.

The Colca Canyon is known and heavily developed. Biker I have not got a hit. The area would have deserved it: slopes, passes, trails for all abilities. Ancient cultural landscape of the Incas with terrace cultivation. Chivay, with its thermal baths and the cafes and restaurants good regeneration opportunities. From Cabana Conde the tour is wild and lonely and only well-equipped and experienced tour drivers should continue here. Further description in the book of the South America Bike RKH-Verlag.
