Nach dem Start in Auffach und einer kurzen Einrollphase erhöht sich erstmals die Steigung. Dies setzt sich im weiteren Verlauf des Aufstiegs auf Schotter fort, woraufhin man sein Bike etwa 5 Minuten zur Passhöhe des Siedeljochs schiebt oder trägt. Anschließend folgt ein kurzer aber durchaus anspruchsfoller, wunderschöner Singletrail. Dannach fährt man überwiegend auf Schotter und teilweise Asphalt hinab in die Kelchsau und hinauf zur Haagalm. Nun gehts auf den schönsten Downhill des Tages, der von der letzten Auffahrt zum Markbachjoch, der größtenteils auf einem kleinen aber feinen Asphaltweg verläuft, gefolgt wird. Dann führt ein gut fahrbarer Wurzeltrail und anschließend ein Schotterweg zur Hörler Stiege. Die nun folgende Abfahrt stellt kaum fahrtechnische Ansprüche; man muss nur aufpassen, dass man den unbeschilderten Abzweig in einer der letzten Kehren nach Auffach nicht verpasst.
