Trail Description


Start am Westfriedhof in Kassel an der Heinrich-Schütz-Allee Über die Dönche zum Drusetal und dann weiter zur Löwenburg. Von der Löwenburg der Strasse bis zu dem Kaskadenrestaurant folgen Dort dem Weg Richtung Seebach und dann Richtung Wurmberg folgen Ist der Hühnerberg umrundet get es in Richtung Igelsburg Sobald der Bach Ahne erreicht ist diesem bis zur Bundesstraße folgen. Dieser nun bis zur nächsten Kehre bergauf folgen und in Richtung Hohlestein geht es weiter.  Von hier ist der Dörnberg schon fast zu sehen. Nach zunächsten flacher Strecke geht es von Süden in Serpentinen den Dörnberg rauf. Oben sollte man die Ausicht nach allen Himmelsrichtungen genießen. Der Abstieg erfolgt im Nordosten. Bis zum Bergkaffee ist es nun nicht mehr weit. Nach einigen Waldtrails geht es hinunter zum Dorf Dörnberg und dann Richtung Essigberg. Ist man am Sendeturm vorbei stößt man erneut auf eine Bundesstrasse. Diese wird direkt gequert und dem Weg zum Hohes Gras gefolgt Entlang der Skipiste und dann einem Waldtrail folgend geht es zum Herbsthäuschen. Am Herbsthäuschen vorbei links abbiegen und am Firnsbach entlang Dann den Abzweig zur Teufelsmauer nicht verpassen und über die Porta Lapidaria zum Bismarckturm fahren. Nachdem dort die Aussicht genossen worden ist, geht es zurück über die Porta Lapidaria über die ehemalige Zeche Marie hinunter zur Konrad-Adenauer-Strasse. Diese wird gequert und entlang der Dönche das Restaurant/Biergarten Schöne Aussicht erreicht. Der Parkplatz des Westfriedhofes ist direkt gegenüber.

Start at the West cemetery in Kassel, Heinrich-Schütz-Allee About the Dönche to Drusetal and then on to the Lion's Castle. From the Löwenburg the road up to the cascade restaurant follow where the path direction Seebach and then follow direction Wurmbergblick Is the Hühnersberg surrounded it get in the direction Hedgehog Burg Once the Bach ancestor is reached this follow up to the main road. This now follow uphill to the next hairpin bend and towards Hohlestein it goes on & nbsp. From here the Dörnberg is almost too see. After zunächsten flat route takes you from the south in the serpentine Dörnberg up. Above should be enjoyed Tauren Mountains in all directions. The descent is in the northeast. Up to the Mountain coffee, it is now not far off. After some forest trail leads down to the village and then Dörnberg direction vinegar mountain. Is it on the transmission tower over you come again on a main road. This is directly crossed and the way to Tall grass followed along the slopes and then follow a forest trail we autumn cottage. Turn left at the Fall Cottage by the left and do not miss the turn to the Devil's Wall on Firnsbach along and then take the Porta Lapidaria the Bismarck tower. After there has been enjoyed the view, it's back on the Porta Lapidaria on the former colliery Marie down to the Konrad-Adenauer-Strasse. This is crossed and along the Dönche reached the restaurant / beer garden Beautiful views. The parking lot of the West cemetery is directly opposite.
