Kommern - Heimbach - Hirschley - WINTERRUNDE Heuer möchte ich euch einmal eine meiner Winter-Trainingsrunden vorstellen. Winterrunde, d.h. möglichst Trailfrei und vorwiegend auf Schotter- ,Forst- und Feldwegen. Zum einen soll das die Trails bis ins Frühjahr schonen und zum anderen kommt man so viel besser voran als im tiefen Matschboden. Also geht’s ab Kommern zunächst am Friedhof über die Bundesstrasse und dann über die Felder auf geteerten Feldwegen zu den Weingartener Höfen. Hier überquert man den Rotbach und dann geht’s bei der Eickser Mühle scharf rechts rein. Nach eine kurzen Steigung geht’s wieder links herum in Richtung Floisorf. Über teils geteerte und schotterige Feldwege geht’s vorbei an Floisdorf und Berg bis man schliesslich die Landstrasse bei der Lukasheide quert. Auf der anderen Seite geht’s auf Schotter hinunter nach Hergarten. Nach einem kurzen Stück auf der Kermeterstraße geht’s links in die Strasse Waldweg hinein. Über Forstautobahnen geht’s dann hinunter nach Heimbach. In Heimbach sucht man zunächst die Burg Hengebach auf wo’s ein paar Treppenstufen hinunter in den Park und den dortigen Uferweg des Heimbacher Staubeckens geht. Am Staubecken entlang geht’s dann später noch mal hinauf auf den Staudamm der Schwamenauel. Oben geht’s über den Parkplatz auf den Uferweg der Schwamenauel, welchem man zunächst eine weile folgt. Irgendwann zweigt dann links die Wolfgartener Straße zum Kermeter hinauf ab. Eine Teer / Waldweg Kombination bringt einen dann bis hinauf zur Hirschley, einem herrlichen Aussichtspunkt über die Schwamenauel. Weiter geht’s vorbei am Rastplatz Paulushof im Bogen bis zum Wanderparkplatz Kermeter. Von hier aus geht’s dann über herrliche Waldweg zum Kloster Maria Wald das zur Einkehr bei Erbsensuppe und Trapistenbier einlädt. Vom Kloster aus geht’s im munteren auf und nieder nach Wolfgarten. Dort radelt man hinüber zum Parkplatz Tönishäuschen und hier dann über die Bundesstraße. Auf der anderen Seite geht’s vorbei an der Kohlweghütte immer weiter bis nach Voißel. Ab hier ist der Rückweg ein leichtes. Man kann über die Felder locker ausrollen lassen denn es geht bis nach Roggendorf und den Mühlenpark stetig bergab. Beim Kreisverkehr Ecke B265 / B477 sucht man halbrechts den Eingang zum Mühlenpark auf. Hat man das Tor passiert geht’s gleich dahinter rechts über eine kleine Holzbrücke und dann doch noch mal einen kurzen Trail bis zum Kommerner See und ab hier dann zurück in die Heimat. Fazit: Eine Landschaftlich schöne Runde, die fahrtechnisch keine hohen ansprüche stellt. Konditionell würde ich die Runde eher mittelschwer einordnen. Es sind zwar 60 km dafür aber „nur“ 1000 hm.

Kommern - Heimbach - Hirschley - WINTER ROUND Heuer I want you even imagine one of my winter training rounds. Winter round, that is, Trail free as possible and mainly on gravel, forest and field paths. Shall be used to protect the trails down to the spring and the other to get ahead so much better than deep mud bottom. So it & rsquo s from Kommern first at the cemetery on the main road and then across the fields on paved roads to the Weingarten courts. Here you cross the Rotbach and then goes & rsquo s at the mill Eickser sharp right pure. After a short climb goes & rsquo s left again around towards Floisorf. About partly paved and gravelly dirt roads go & rsquo s past Floisdorf and mountain until finally the road near the Luke Heath crosses. On the other hand it & rsquo s on gravel down to Hergarten. After a short stretch on the Kermeterstraße goes & rsquo s left on the road into forest road. On forest highways goes & rsquo s then down to Heimbach. In Heimbach is first examined the Hengebach castle on where & rsquo s some stairs going down to the park and the local riverside path of Heimbacher impoundment. At the dam goes along & rsquo; then later again up to the dam of Schwamenauel. Goes up & rsquo s across the parking lot on the riverside of the Schwamenauel, which you must follow for a while. Sometime then turn left the Wolf kindergartener road to Kermeter up from. A tar / forest combination brings a then up to the Hirschley, a gorgeous view over the Schwamenauel. Goes on & rsquo s past the rest area Paulushof in sheets up to trail parking lot Kermeter. From here you & rsquo s then over forest road to the monastery Maria Forest invites you to stop at Pea Soup and Trapistenbier. From the monastery it & rsquo s in the lively and down to Wolf Garden. There you ride over to the house and parking Tönis here then on the highway. On the other hand it & rsquo s past the Kohlweghütte always further to Voißel. From here on the way back is easy. You can let loose roll out across the fields because it goes as far as Rye village and the mill park steadily downhill. At the roundabout corner B265 / B477 you look at the right half of the entrance to the Mill Park. After passing through the gate is & rsquo s just behind the right over a small wooden bridge and then yet again a short trail to the lake and Kommerner from here then back home. Conclusion: A Scenic round, which is technically not high claims. Conditionally I would place the round rather moderate. Although it is 60 km but & bdquo; just & ldquo; 1000 hm.
