Tolle aber schwierige Tour auf auf abwechslungsreichem Untergrund. Die Tour folgt in Teilen dem Moselhöhenweg auf der rechten Seite der Mosel (Richtung Mündung geschaut). Start ist in Koblenz am Bahnhof. Von hier aus geht es auf der Strasse an der Mosel entlang nach Koblenz-Lay, wo der erste Anstieg mit 18 bis 25% wartet. Weiter zur Querung der A61 und zurück ins Moseltal vorbei an der Burg Thurant nach Alken. Ab hier immer ein stetiger Wechsel Flußtal und den Höhen über der Mosel - über Treis-Karden - Beilstein - Merl nach Zell, wo die erste Etappe endet und übernachtet wird. Ein Schiebestück von rund 800m. Aufgrund von einem "Hungerast" sind wir ab Brodenbach bis Treis-Karden an der Mosel entlang. Great but difficult route on varied terrain. The tour follows in parts the Moselhöhenweg on the right of the Mosel (towards the muzzle looked). Home is in Koblenz at the station. From here it goes on the road along the Mosel to Koblenz-Lay, where the first increase with 18 to 25% is waiting. Continue to cross the A61 and back to the Moselle valley past the castle Thurant Alken. From here always in a continuous change river valley and the hills above the Moselle - about Treis-carding - Beilstein - Merl cell, where the first stage ends and stayed.
