Eine bayrische Tour (gefahren am 11.10./12.10.2008) beginnend in Niederbayern in Deggendorf im Mündungsgebiet dort wo die Isar in die Donau fließt. Es geht flussaufwärts immer der Nase nach auf gut ausgebauten Radwegen mit einer guten Ausschilderung des Fahrweges. Am ersten Tag war leider nur trübes Wetter. Die Sonne hatte keine echte Chance den Nebel zu vertreiben. Entsprechend waren auch die Eindrücke der wenig wechselhaften Umgebung. 80 km fast nur geradeaus mit wenig Abwechelsung und nur im Nebel schlagen halt auf's Gemüt. Am ersten Etappenziel in Landshut angekommen, mußten wir 3mal um Quartier nachfragen bis es endlich damit klappte für 60,- € inkl. Frühstück. Das Abendessen in der Pizzeria war hervorragend, typisches Bikerfood eben: Nudeln mit Knoblauch, Olivenöl, Basilikum und Parmesan, Pizzapane und ein herrliches Landshuter Helles --> einfach prächtig... :) Am nächsten Tag ging's ab 09.00 Uhr weiter mit dem 2. Teil der Tour in Richtung München. Wettermäßig war es nun aber optimal, die Sonne schien ab 11 Uhr vormittags und der Nebel hatte diesesmal keine Chance. Die Isar zeigt sich von ihrer prächtigsten Seite. Der 2.Teil der Tour war der wesentlich schönere, nicht nur wegen dem besserem Wetter, sondern auch weil die Umgebung öfters wechselte, es gab halt viel mehr zum Schauen und die Streckenführung war ab Landshut interessanter... Durstig und hungrig ging es dann am Nachmittag ab Freising in Richtung München weiter zum Aumeister, ein super schöner Biergarten am englischen Garten liegend. Die Brotzeit und die Maß Bier haben uns bestens geschmeckt (Die Preise dafür weniger, aber egal...) Gut gestärkt ging's dann weiter in Richtung Innenstadt zum Hauptbahnhof, wo wir die Tour beendeten. (Man möchte es nur schwer glauben, aber 2 Tage auf den teils befestigten und unbefestigten Wegen gehen schon gehörig an die Supstanz und auf''s Sitzfleisch. :) Die gleiche Strecke auf Asphalt gefahren, wäre wohl um einiges angenehmer gewesen...) Wir haben somit, bis auf ein noch fehlendes kleines Stück von 60km (Bad Tölz bis Mittenwald), die Isar (gesamt ca. 300 km Länge) von ihrem Ursprung im Karwendel bis zu ihrem Ende beim Einfluß in die Donau abgefahren.

A Bavarian Tour (down at 11:10. / 12.10.2008) starting in Lower Bavaria in Deggendorf in the estuary where the river Isar flows into the Danube. It goes upriver the Nose on bike paths with good signposting of the route. On the first day, unfortunately, was only cloudy. The sun had no real opportunity to drive the fog. Accordingly, were the impressions of the little changing environment. 80 km only almost straight with little Abwechelsung and only in the fog hit stop on's mind. Arrived at your first destination in Landshut, we had to ask 3 times for quarter until it finally worked so for 60, - € &; including breakfast. The dinner in the pizzeria was excellent, typical biker just food: pasta with garlic, olive oil, basil and Parmesan, Pizzapane and a wonderful Landshut Light - & gt; simply gorgeous ... :) The next day we went after 09:00 clock continue with the second part of the tour in Munich. Weather-wise, it was now but ideally, the sun shone from 11 clock in the morning and the fog had no chance this time. The Isar is at its most magnificent page. The 2nd part of the tour was much more beautiful, not only because of the better weather, but also because the environment changed more often, it was just a lot more to look and the route was interesting from Landshut ... Thirsty and hungry, we went on afternoon from Freising to Munich continue lying to Aumeister, a super nice beer garden at the English Garden. The snack and glass of beer we tasted well (The prices for less, but no matter ...) & nbsp; Well fed, we went then towards downtown to the main train station, where we finished the tour. (You want it hard to believe, but two days on the trails partly paved and unpaved go already belonging to the Supstanz and ''s seat meat. :) Drove the same route on asphalt, would have been much more pleasant ...) We have thus, to an even missing small piece of 60km (Bad Tölz to Mittenwald), the Isar (total 300 km length) departed from its origin in the Karwendel mountains to its end in influence in the Danube.
