Unsere Tour startet im Villenvorort von Le Lavandou (Super Lavandou), 25 km von Hyères und ca. 60 km von Marseille entfernt. Dort folgen wir dem Boulevard des Pêcheurs bis zu seinem höchsten Punkt und steigen links in einen Schotterweg (am Funkmast) ein. Dieser zieht sich dann in Serpentinen den Berg für ca. 4,5 km hinauf, bis er eine asphaltierte Straße erreicht. Hier biegen wir links ab und folgen der Landstraße bis zum Col de Landon. Vor einer Linkskurve geht es rechts eine Betonrampe steil hoch bis zu einer Schranke. Jetzt folgen wir dem Rundweg rechts ca. 15 km leicht bergab auf einem schönen, technisch anspruchsvollen Schotterweg durch Korkeichen- und Pinienwälder. Am ersten Sackgassenschild auf der rechten (!) Seite geht es noch einmal steil bergab. Nachdem wir mehrere Flussläufe durchquert haben, erreichen wir das Tal und fahren bis zur Nationalstrasse RN98 und folgen dieser rechts ca. 3 km, bis wir wieder in den Wald einsteigen. Hier an einem Schotterparkplatz geht es rechts ab, weiter an einem Landhaus vorbei, bis es nach ca. 500 m links über eine Brücke an einer Schranke vorbei steil den Berg in mehreren Serpentinen über insgesamt ca. 200 hm aufwärts geht. Danach wird es vorübergehend etwas flacher, wir fahren an Weinstöcken und einem Haus vorbei. Wir folgen dem Hauptweg, bis wir nach einem leichten Abwärtsstück links den Berg hinauffahren. Nach diesem Anstieg erreichen wir schließlich eine Teerstrasse. Dieser folgen wir nun nach rechts immer gerade aus, allerdings gönnen wir uns noch einen Abstecher über einen schönen Wanderweg auf der linken Seite. Wieder auf der Teerstrasse setzten wir unsere Fahrt fort, bis wir wieder an die Stelle kommen, die wir am Vormittag nach dem ersten steilen Anstieg erreicht hatten. Hier winkt die Belohnung des Tages: links eine rasante Abfahrt über 4,5 km zurück nach Super Lavandou. Dort erreichen wir wieder die Ortstrasse Bd. des Pêcheurs. Die Gesamtstreckenlänge beträgt 45 km, die reine Fahrzeit 3h15m, die Höhendifferenz 900 hm. Fazit: Ça n’est pas la mer a boire mais très jolie.

Our tour starts in the suburb of Le Lavandou (Super Lavandou), 25 km from Hyères and 60 km from Marseille. Here we follow the Boulevard Fisher'castle up to its highest point and get left on a dirt road (at the radio mast). This then takes place in the mountain switchbacks for about 4.5 km up until it reaches a paved road. Here we turn left and follow the road up to the Col de Landon. Before a left turn, turn right a steep concrete ramp up to a barrier. Now we follow the trail right around 15 km downhill on a beautiful, technically demanding dirt road through cork oak and pine forests. On the first dead end sign on the right (!) Page it goes downhill again. Once we have crossed several rivers, we reach the valley and drive to the national road RN98 and follow it to the right about 3 km until we go back into the forest. Here on a gravel parking lot, turn right, continue on a country-by, until it left past the steep mountain switchbacks in several totaling about 200 hm goes up by about 500 m over a bridge on a barrier. After that it will temporarily somewhat flatter, we drive past vineyards and a house. We follow the main road until we left go up the mountain after a slight downward piece. After this increase, we eventually reach a paved road. This we now follow to the right of straight ahead, but we enjoy a detour through a beautiful trail on the left. Back on the tar road, we continued our journey until we come back to the point we had reached after the first steep rise in the morning. Here waving the reward of the day: Left a rapid descent over 4.5 km back to Super Lavandou. Here we reach the Ortstrasse Vol. Fisher'castle. The total length is 45 km, the driving time 3h15m, the height difference 900 hm. Conclusion: Ça n'est pas la mer a boire mais très jolie.
