Kurze, aber sehr knackige Tour bei Sant Elm / Andratx zu den Ruinen La Trapa. Aufgezeichnet mit Garmin etrex vista hcx am 16.09.2008. Start / Ziel: Ortsende Sant Elm, Parkmöglichkeiten in den Wohnstrassen, z. B. Carrer Punta Blanca. Von dort wieder ein Stück zurück Richtung Ort, bis links (vom Ort kommend rechts) die Avinguda la Trapa abzweigt, die in den Cami Can Tomevi übergeht. "La Trapa" ist ausgeschildert. Dauer: Wir haben etwas 2h 15min gebraucht, mit reichlich Foto-Pausen Mehr Bilder als Diashow: Die beste Qualität wird mit der Option "in hoher Qualität ansehen" rechts unter dem youtube-videofenster erreicht. Impressionen von der Tour: de.youtube.com/watch Impressionen Mallorca allgemein: de.youtube.com/watch Streckenbeschreibung: bis auf die letzten 3-4 km auf der PM 103 und durch den Ort nur Offroad Anstieg bis zum Pass auf Südhang, im steileren oberen Stück ohne Schatten insbesondere die letzten Kehren sind recht steil und grob, es ist schwierig das Vorderrad auf der Erde zu behalten ohne dass das Hinterrad durchdreht. Ich ziehe den Hut vor jedem, der den Anstieg bis zum Pass in einem Zug durchfährt. Auch die kurze Abfahrt bis zum Aussichtspunkt auf der anderen Seite ist sehr steil. Wegen der teilweise recht groben Wegbeschaffenheit nicht für blutige MTB-Anfänger geeignet aber technisch durchaus machbar. Die Steilstücke oben am Pass erfordern aber einiges an Kraft / Kondition Die Ausblicke sind auf die Insel Sa Dragonera und das Meer sind überwältigend. Auf dem Pass lohnt es sich ein paar Meter zu Fuß über die Felsen auf den Höhenzug zu gehen. Bei den Ruinen sollte man unbedingt bis zu den weiter unter liegenden Aussichtsterassen gehen, da dort die Aussicht besonders schön ist. Die Tour ist insbesondere bei klarem Wetter zu empfehlen. Auch Sant Elm hat ein paar schöne Winkel entlang der Promenade zu bieten. Die Tour kann südlich der PM103 noch etwas erweitert werden (siehe z. Short, but very crisp Tour at Sant Elm / Andratx to the ruins of La Trapa. Recorded with the Garmin eTrex vista hcx on 16/09/2008. Start / Finish: local end Sant Elm, parking in the residential streets such as Carrer Punta Blanca.. From there another step back towards the village, to the left (from the village coming right) Avinguda la Trapa branches, merges into the Cami Can Tomevi. & Quot; La Trapa & quot; is signposted.
