Sehr schöne kurze Runde auf Anfangs Asphaltstraßen von Orciatico Richtung Lajatico. Kurz vor Lajatico verläßt man die Strasse bei dem Wegweiser zum Rocca Pietracassia und folgt diesem erst noch auf einem kleinen Asphaltweg - später auf Schotter, am Ende auf einem Trail immer aufwärts bis zu der verfallenen Burg. Die Rückfahrt findet über die selbe Strecke wie die Hinfahrt statt. Kleine Tour in der ansonsten eher unerschlossenen Gegend von Volterra in der Toscana. eigentliches MTB Gebiet sind die Gebiete um das Chianti und die Maremma.

Very nice short round at the beginning of asphalt roads Orciatico direction of Lajatico. Just before leaving to Lajatico the road at the sign for Rocca Pietracassia and follows this yet on a small asphalt road - on gravel later, end up on a trail always up to the ruined castle. The return trip takes place via the same route as the outward journey. Small tour in the otherwise rather unexplored area of ??Volterra in Tuscany. real MTB area are the areas around the Chianti and the Maremma.
