Der 7te Tag stellt die Pflichtübung der Tour da – diese führt nur flach über Asphalt Richtung Mittelmeer und das auch noch wegen der vielen Kanäle, welche das Land durchziehen, auf meist Hauptstraßen wegen der Kanalüberquerungen. Um zumindest dem Lkw Verkehr zu entgehen – die Italiener fahren noch immer in kleinsten Entfernungen – hier kann ein Lkw auch mal mit 30 – 50 cm einen passieren – solle man diese Tour auf Samstags oder aber Sonntags legen. Wir haben diese Pflichtetappe freitags absolviert und so mehr oder weniger Lkws und einigen Touri Verkehr abbekommen. Der Lohn der Tortur ist das Bier am Strand vom Lido di Jesolo und – als Empfehlung – noch eine Woche ohne Rad zum Beispiel in der Toscana. Karte: Carta Stradale d'Italia Foglio 4 Veneto, Friuli
