Der Tag startet erst einmal zum Wach werden bergab bis zum Erreichen des Piave Tals, dem wir nach rechts Richtung Campolongo über San Pietro di Cadore folgen. In Campolongo geht es nach links auf die S465 zur Forc. Lavadet. Anfangs ist die Strasse noch asphaltiert – später wandelt sich diese in eine mehr oder weniger grobe Schotterpiste bis der Forc. Lavadet erreicht ist. Ab hier auf der S619 weiter hinauf bis nach links der Lago die Sauris ausgeschildert ist. Hier diesem Wegweiser bis zum Sella die Razzo folgen und dann die Höhenmeter auf guter Asphaltstrasse bis zum Lago di Sauris hinunter wieder vernichten. An der Staumauer angekommen diese überqueren und in den Tunnel hinein, der elidlich beleuchtet und recht feucht ist. Sobald dieser durchquert ist steigt die Strasse durch Wald an und führt uns so Kehre um Kehre zum Passo al Pura hinauf, der auch eine Übernachtungsmöglichkeit darstellt. Wir haben uns jedoch entschlossen die anstehende Abfahrt über einen Asphaltstraße noch mitzunehmen und Richtung Ampezzo den Berg hinunterzustürzen. Nachdem der Passstraße auf der N52 endet hier noch ca. 300m nach links bevor das Etappenziel die Albergo Al Pura erreicht ist.
