Eine wunderbare Tour von Villach zum Hotel Mittagskogel: Von dort in den markierten Weg zur "Berta Hütte" . Die anfängliche Teer Straße wird dann zur Schotterstraße. 2008 ist die Straße saniert worden, und ist nun deutlich leichte zu befahren. Der Weg ist dennoch steil. Manche schieben auch. Am Grat angekommen kann man den kurzen Stich zu Berta Hütte hochfahren und laben. Wir sind ein wenig den Weg runter auf'm 603er gefahren und haben am Brunnen neben dem Wegesrand pausiert. Weiter ging's den Schotterweg runter bis zum Tragestück. Dieses ist ca. 10 bis 15 Minuten lang. Dann wieder weiter die Gratschenitzengraben raus bis zum Karawankentunnel der Autobahn. Richtung Maria Elend - dann nach Schlatten der Eisenbahn entlang Richtung Faaker See nach Müllnern wieder retour nach Villach.

The initial tar road then becomes a gravel road. 2008, the road has been renovated, and is now much easy to navigate. The road is still steep. Some also push. Arriving at the ridge you can drive up and refresh the short stub to Bertahütte. We're a little down the way down auf'm 603er and have paused at the fountain next to the road. We continued down the dirt road to the support piece. This is approximately 10 to 15 minutes. Then again continue the Gratschenitzengraben out to Karawankentunnel the highway. Direction Maria misery - then Schlatten the railroad along the direction Faak after Müllnern back again to Villach.
