Von Torbole geht es zunächst Richtung Monte Altissimo, entlang der Strasse, Richtung Wanderweg 601. Der Weg ist lange geteert, ziemlich schmal, aber dennoch kommt ab und zu ein Auto oder ein Motorrad vorbei. Bei ca. 1500 Meter Höhe endet der Asphalt. Zunächst ist die Steigung gemäßigt (5-10%), gegen Ende wird es steiler, teilweise 20%, zuletzt auf dem nicht asphaltierten Stück ist es sehr steil und aufgrund des Schotters schwer zu fahren. Der Weg geht dann bis zur Kreuzung der Wege 601 und 624. Wir folgen 624 bis zum Rifugio Malga Campei auf 1470 m. Gutes Essen, sehr angenehme Bewirtschaftung, freundlich und schnell. Trinkgeld wird für ein Projekt in Nicaragua gespendet. Von dort geht es dann steil bergab, teilweise betoniert, teilweise unangenehmer Schotter, letztlich immer geradeaus bis zum Ortseingang Brentonico. Ab dort folgt man kleinen Schilder mit Aufschrift MTB und hat wunderbare Trails, teilweise steil, teilweise etwas anspruchsvoller, aber angenehmer als der Schotter von oben. Man passiert die Orte Castione und Sano bis man dann man bei Loppio auf den geteerten Radweg entlang der Hauptstraße kommt. Wir sind ihm bis Nago gefolgt und dann auf der Fahrstraße runter bis Torbole.
