Trail Description

MTB Leverkusen & ndash; Eifgental & ndash; Linnefetal & nbsp; & ndash; Dhünntal The mountain bike tour described here is of the Leverkusen mountain bikers (www.mtblev.de) always enjoyed driving. The reason for this round can be found all High Lights has near Leverkusen to offer the Bergische Land. The tour with & nbsp; 45 km can be driven as a day trip, because lie en route Inns leave nothing to be desired. After starting in 51379 Leverkusen - Opladen, Station Road (Railway Station) begins the tour with the Ophoventrail. Next on Wiembach ndash toward Burscheid &; Kaltenherberg. Further on the Hammerweg, continue to the Thomashof (breakfast). Past the courtyard leads the way across the meadow to the serpentine trail ending before the Eifgenbach. The Eifgenbach is a 20.5 km long tributary of the Dhünn, provides us mountain bikers with its rooted singletrack a highlight of the tour. At the mill designs (Restaurant u. Biergarten) by the way (restaurant and beer garden.) Goes to the new mill. We cross the county road 15 and follow the road in the valley after a short climb to the village stump is achieved .. Who now the hunger plaguing has the possibility of a break in Grosseledder (Restaurant u. Biergarten) insert. For the other route goes to the L 101 / K16 next to the cemetery. Directly behind the cemetery hedge right along the forest path down to Linnefetal, in curves, or flowing terrain we follow the Linnefebach to Koenen mill (u restaurant. Biergarten). Cross the K18 and drive through the parking lot back to the Linnefetrail on. The last kilometers demand on splinted single trails quite a bit of concentration before the Dhünntal is achieved. Broad forest road down the river to get to the trail parking lot Schöllerhof. And who the Altenberg Cathedral (a large former monastery church / Restaurant u. Biergarten) does not know, for I have listed with a visit to the cathedral in the GPS track. Without the visit to the Cathedral bikers take the path to the right over the Eifgenbach and the 1.1 km long slope to the Good Angel Rath at the B 51 along the B51 until we go right up to the street Am Miihlenweg, then turn left onto the road on the Kradenplatz . Now be careful that the right outgoing path is not missed leading to rapid descent to Wiebertshof. On the L 219 which crosses the A1 we drive to the path that leads right to the hostel on, then the meadow down to the tennis courts. In Wiembachtal down left to Lützenkirchen the L 58 cross Lehner to mill a gentle slope through the residential area and the road L 219 is reached. From here we turn right on the road On the Ohmer, after a short downhill we reach the Wiembachtal- the way leads us to Lev.- Opladen back! Tour dates: track & nbsp; 45 km, with a detour to Altenberg & nbsp; 50 km. ca.600 Hm, duration, tempo normal: 3:20, without breaks.
