Start ist am Camping Tamaro, dann am Ufer des Lago Maggiore entlang, dann an der Maggia und hinein ins Maggiatal. Es geht immer auf Radwegen, manchmal auch auf Trailpassagen das Tal hinein. Bei Someo geht es dann über den Fluss, auf einer Hängebrücke, wenn man fährt, meint man, besoffen zu sein, so schaukelt das. Auf der anderen Seite ist ein Wanderweg, der etwas schwierig zu fahren ist. Man passiert ein paar schöne Dörflein, der Wanderweg ist manchmal ätzend, aber was soll man denn sonst den ganzen Tag machen? In Ronchi geht es dann eine Teerstraße hoch, bis die an einem Parkplatz aufhört, ab jetzt wird's spassig. Der Weg hinab ins Tal ist holprig und steil und schön. Wahrscheinlich kann man auch irgendwie anders runter fahren, da immer wieder Wegweiser an den Abzweigungen stehen. Das letzte Stück muss mann dann schieben, nur noch Treppen. Zurück, ausrollen bis zum Campingplatz.
