Der Weinstein-Tour-Track geistert gleich mehrmals durchs Netz. Weil die Route fahrtechnisch richtig interessant ist, veröffentliche ich sie ein zweites Mal. Es war am 9. 8. 2008 als sich zwei Kärntnerbuam nach Mühldorf auf den Weg machten, um den Flachländlern zu zeigen, was ein echter Hochgebirgsbiker ist. Bereits der erste Anstieg auf den Eichberg zeigte uns, dass man vom gscheiten Daherreden nicht besser wird: Quasi vom Auto auf den Berg gings ohne Aufwärmen und gleich mit voller Steilheit los. Im Gipfelbuch am Aussichtspunkt haben wir dann aber doch unsre Duftmarken hinterlassen. Sowas tut man ja nur, wenns der Gipfel wirklich wert ist. Dieser war es. Steil und fahrtechnisch tricky gehts im Prinzip den Rest der gesamten Runde weiter. Richtig schwierig wirds, wenn man wie wir in einen heftigen Regenguss kommt und der Untergrund schmierig wird. Für ambitionierte Biker ist im Prinzip alles fahrbar - ohne Anstrengung geht das aber nicht: die abschnittsweise enorme Steilheit zwingt zu Tempo bergauf, was auf Dauer ganz schön anstrengend ist. Die Angegebene Fahrzeit versteht sich als Netto-Fahrzeit, der niedrige Kilometerschnitt ist kein Scherz sondern Tatsache: das Gelände ist einfach schwierig, für echte Biker deshalb ein Genuss. Was uns fehlte: mehr Tief- und Fernblicke. Der Großteil der Strecke führt durch finsteren Wald.
