Sehr schöne und auch für Anfänger geeignete Runde im Nahtal. Die erste Auffahrt erfolgt auf einer gesperrten Straße auf den Rotenfels. Oben angekommen führt ein verwinkelter Singletrail zur Steilkante, dort fährt man mit genialen Aus- und Tieblicken zur Bastei, der höchsten Steilwand nördlich der Alpen. Hinab gehts nach Norheim, und dort auf einem Höhenweg durch eine der besten deutschen Weinanbaugebiete, den Norheimer Kafels, nach Niederhausen. Nach der Überquerung des Stausees folgt der Weg dem Trombach bergauf, hierbei muss man leider 30m sein Rad mal schieben, da ein rücksichtsloser, hinzugezogener Anwohner meinte, den jahrhundertealten Weg sperren zu müssen, um ein abgeschottetes und realitätsfernes Leben führen zu können. Schließlich gelangt man nach einer rasanten Abfahrt durch tunnelartig zugewachsene Wege ins schöne Ebernburg. Hier führt ein stellenweise steiler Weg zu Wieneckes Waldidyll, wobei sicherlich die Bezeichnung idyll diskutabel sein dürfte. Ohne sich weiter um das Wochenendleben gestresster Großstädter zu kümmern biegt man aber schnell nach links ab und fährt auf dem von einigen Künstlern gestalteten Waldweg zum Forsthaus Spreitel und später dann auf die Gans. Der Gipfel läd, da der baldige Tourschluss naht, nocheinmal ein, die gefahrene Strecke aus der Ferne zu begutachten. Leicht und flowig gehts dann endlich, mit schönen Blicken ins Salinental, zurück nach Bad Kreuznach. Wagemutige können auf den letzten Metern auch die "100 Treppen" hinunterfahren und sich ein paar Meter Teer ersparen.
