Trail Description

out from the stump and climb along the dirt track that offers great panoramic views of the Gran Sasso mountain, Mount Gorzano and Lace Moscio. When you reach Col Long, passing the intersection with the road that goes down in the ditch on the left of the Cavata, always on the left side a faint track that keeps you at the edge of the Forest of Lagamella. The trail goes halfway and then engage further with the very obvious YES not before passing a short section of easy climbing between the sandstone. You get to the pens of Cavata with the possibility to deviate to the left towards the falls. Instead of keeping on the right side of the moat a tough stretch in portage that goes up to a mountain ridge IACCI Verre. Intercepted the dirt road begins a rapid descent to the Lake Bear (do not let yourself be enchanted by the name as it is only a small pool of water, dry summer as well). After passing the Rifugio Orso follow the frequent reports CAI of the path n.300 which provide a good reference when navigating the fast track, slipping through the woods, back to the stump.
