Die Tour führt am „Altenberger Dom“ vorbei kurz auf die L101. Danach geht’s rechts in den Wald erst einmal richtig hoch und runter :-). Die Tour ist anspruchsvoll und landschaftlich sehr schön. Man sollte auf jeden Fall etwas zu Essen mitnehmen, denn die erste gute Einkehrmöglichkeit "Schankwirtschaft" ist im letzten Drittel der Tour. Die Schwierigkeit der Tour entscheidet meistens das Wetter. Altenberg ist ein Ortsteil der Gemeinde Odenthal im Rheinland und liegt etwa 25 km östlich von Köln. Achtung: Die Tour ist nichts für ungeübte! Sie kann auch abgekürzt werden, in dem man am Ende der Talsperre links hoch die Asphaltstrasse L409 Richtung Dhünn nimmt und dort wieder in den Track einsteigt.

The tour takes in the "Altenberg Cathedral" by just on the L101. Then it's off to the right into the forest once properly up and down:-). The tour is challenging and very scenic. You should definitely take some food, for the first good Refreshments "public house" is in the last third of the tour. The difficulty of the tour usually decides the weather. Altenberg is a district of the municipality of Odenthal in the Rhineland and lies about 25 km east of Cologne. Note: The tour is not for the inexperienced! It can also be abbreviated in which you left up the tarmac road takes L409 direction Dhünn at the end of the dam and there will re-enter the track.
