***auch geeignet für Trekking-Bike und Fahrrad-Touring*** Gestartet wird an der Haltestelle "Hauptfriedhof" der Stadtbahnlinie U2. Von dort geht es durch die Weinberge hinunter zum Neckar. Am Neckar entlang folgt man dem Radweg bis Untertürkheim. Von dort geht der erste große Anstieg hinauf zum Örtchen Rotenberg, die Grabkapelle auf dem Württemberg ist dabei gut zu sehen und lädt zu einem Abstecher ein. Weiter geht es zwischen Wald und Reben bis zum Ausflugslokal "Sieben Linden" wo der Weg nach links in den Wald abbiegt. Weiter unterhalb vom Kernen bis zum Schützenhaus und immer am Waldrand mit schönem Ausblick ins Tal bis nach Fellbach. Von da über Öffingen und Weidachklause weiter am Neckar entlang bis zum Max-Eyth-See. Auf der anderen Neckarseite ein kleines Stück zurück bis Mühlhausen wo der Weg in der Arnoldstraße nach links Richtung Stuttgart Freiberg abbiegt. Weiter geht es durch diesen Ortsteil Richtung Schnarrenberg, Burgholzhof und von dort mit herrlichem Blick auf's Neckartal bis zum Robert-Bosch-Krankenhaus. Von dort hinunter zum Pragsattel Richtung Killesbergpark* (sehr sehenswert, toller Aussichtsturm, allerdings müssen Fahrräder geschoben werden). Von dort durch das ehemalige IGA-Gelände und ein kurzes Stück entlang der Heilbronner Straße am Hauptbahnhof vorbei bis zum Uni-Gelände und weiter an den Schloßplatz. Die Schlußetappe führt vorbei am Eckensee (Neues Schloß, Landtag, Großes/Kleines Haus) durch den Schloßgarten. bis zu den Mineralbädern. Von hier über den Cannstatter Kursaal (sehenswert: Gottlieb-Daimler-Gedenkstätte) an der Bahnlinie entlang bis Sommerrain und zurück zur Haltestelle "Hauptfriedhof" der U2. *)Route quert den Park nicht, führt aber direkt am Eingang (Ecke Stresemannstr./Maybachstr.) vorbei ***Einkehrmöglichkeiten***: Biergarten Mühlgrün, Ausflugslokal "Sieben Linden", Schützenhaus Kernen, Max-Eyth-See (diverse), Aussichtsturm Burgholzhof (nur So), Cafe Aussichtsreich am Burgholzhof , Killesbergpark/Iga-Gelände (diverse), Biergarten im Kursaal Cannstatt.

Along the Neckar river, follow the cycle path to Untertürkheim.
