Giro corto ma intenso per lo spettacolare ambiente che lo circonda. Si parte da Ussita per Calcara da dove, con una lunga e faticosa salita ci si inoltra nella splendida faggeta della Val di Panico al cospetto dell’imponente parete nord del Monte Bove. Superata la sorgente dell’Ussita si arriva a Casali da dove si sale verso il Fargno. Dopo pochi chilometri si gira a sx nel bosco verso il Santuario di Macereto che si raggiunge con un sentiero facile e panoramico. Dal santuario, dopo un breve tratto asfaltato, si sale su sterrata al valico di Arette. Un paio di km. di discesa su asfalto e si arriva ad un tornante da dove, svoltando a destra, si imbocca la vecchia strada per Sasso che si raggiunge con una divertente discesa di ghiaino, degna conclusione di questo bel giro.

Intense but short ride to the spectacular surrounding environment. It starts from Ussita for Kalkara from where, with a long and strenuous climb you forward in the beautiful beech woods of Val di Panico in the sight of the imposing north face of Monte Bove. After the source dell'Ussita Country where you get to go up towards the Fargno. After a few miles, turn left into the woods towards the Sanctuary of Macereto which is reached by an easy and scenic trail. From the sanctuary, after a short stretch of tarmac, climb on a dirt road at the crossing of Arette. A couple of miles. downhill on asphalt and you will come to a bend where, by turning to the right, take the old road to Sasso can be reached with a fun downhill gravel, a worthy conclusion to this beautiful ride.
